Teachersˈ Talk

Mr. Brown: Good morning, Mrs. Green. How are your classes going this week?
Mrs. Green: Good morning. Not bad, thank you. But my students are very noisy today.
Mr. Brown: Ha! Mine too! I think they are tired after the weekend.
Mrs. Green: Probably. Which subjects do you teach, Mr. Brown?
Mr. Brown: I teach history and geography. And you?
Mrs. Green: I teach English and literature. I love my subjects.
Mr. Brown: Me too. But sometimes the students don't like history. They think it is boring.
Mrs. Green: I understand. But English is different. My students love reading stories.
Mr. Brown: That's great. Do you have any difficult students this year?
Mrs. Green: Yes, one boy in class seven. He never does his homework.
Mr. Brown: Oh, I know him. He is smart but very lazy.
Mrs. Green: Exactly. But most of my students are wonderful. I really enjoy teaching them.
Mr. Brown: Me too. I think teaching is the best job in the world.
Mrs. Green: I completely agree.
