Winter Holidays

Last month we had winter holidays. It was a good time. Schoolchildren did not have lessons at that time. We did not go to school.

We had good weather all the time. The weather was nice. Sometimes it snowed. The snow was white. But we liked the weather very much. We were happy.

During the holidays schoolchildren had a good time. I had a good time too.

During the winter holidays I often went to the cinema. I saw some interesting films. The films were for children. I read some books. I took the books from our school library. The books were good.

Every day I met my friends. We played in the playground. We went to the skating-rink to skate. It was fun.

Every day I looked after my little sister. I helped my mother about the house. I washed the dishes. I dusted the sofa and chairs. I swept the floor. I cleaned the rooms.

On Saturdays and Sundays my father took me to the town park. We went for walks. We talked and played. It was a good time with my father.

The holidays were good. I liked them very much.
