The Smith Family

The Smith family is large. They are a family of seven people.

Mrs. Smith is a doctor. She works in a hospital. Mr. Smith is an engineer. He works in a plant.

They have two sons and two daughters. Oscar is the elder son. He was born in 2000. Now he works in the plant with his father. He likes his work.

Oliver is the younger son. He is a pupil in the ninth form. He is a serious boy. He likes to play chess and read books. He is a good pupil.

Charlotte is the elder daughter. She is nine years old. She is in the third form. She is an industrious pupil. She likes to play the piano and to draw.

Amelia is the youngest girl. She is only six. She is not a pupil. She is a lively and beautiful child. She likes to dance.

The children's grandmother does not work. She is an old woman. She takes care of the house. The children love her and help her.

In the evenings, the Smith family like to sit in the living-room. They are a happy and friendly family.
