A prática de trava-línguas (tongue twisters) é uma parte essencial do treinamento fonético do inglês. Os trava-línguas ajudam a desenvolver a pronúncia correta dos sons, a dicção clara, a fala expressiva e estimulam a percepção auditiva do inglês. É muito importante repetir regularmente os trava-línguas apresentados abaixo, pois eles são voltados para a formação correta dos sons que não existem ou são diferentes dos sons do português.
