We speak about the weather almost every day. We talk about it a lot. Before we begin doing something, we want to know. We want to know what kind of weather it is going to be.

Why do we speak about the weather so often? The answer is not very difficult. It is easy. We want sunny weather when we go for a walk. We want to walk in the country. And when a day is rainy, we stay at home. We read books at home. We watch TV at home. We do other things at home.

When we are at the seaside, windy weather is not a pleasure. It is not good. It is difficult to swim when the wind blows. The wind is strong. And the wind can change good weather into bad. The sun will stop shining. Rain may come. The weather becomes bad.

And is there anything which we can do and must do in any weather? Yes, of course, there is. As English people say, “rain or shine” we must go to school. This means in any weather. School is good in any weather, is it not? We must go to school when it is sunny. We must go to school when it is rainy. We must go to school when it is windy.
