How was Sunday

It was Sunday yesterday. The day was good. The weather was fine. It was not very cold. The ground was white with snow. The trees were white with snow too.

In the morning my mother talked to me. She said, "You must clean your room. Then you may go for a walk. You can go in the afternoon. It is a fine day."

I ate my breakfast. Soon after breakfast I cleaned my room. I dusted the desk. I dusted the bookcase. I dusted the bookshelves. I swept the floor. I watered the flowers. The flowers were green and nice.

Then I went out. I went for a walk in the park. I took my skates. I skated in the park with my friends. We skated and played. It was fun. At two o’clock I came home.

After dinner my friend came to see me. He came to my home. We played games. We talked about our school. We talked about our class. Then we saw a new film on TV. The film was very interesting. We liked it.

My parents were not at home in the afternoon. They went to see their friend. Their friend had his birthday. They gave him a present.

When my parents came back home, I was glad. I was glad to see them. I talked to them about my day. It was a good Sunday.
