My Birthday

Today is November 27. It is my birthday. Today I am ten years old. It is Sunday, and I do not go to school today.

The weather is good. I get up at eight o'clock. I wash my face and my hands. Then I put on my clothes. My mother and my father come into my room. They say: "Happy birthday! Happy birthday!" They give me a present. The present is a nice book. The book has many pictures. I like books with pictures. I like to read books very much.

My little sister comes to me too. She has a present for me. It is a picture of a cat. I say: "Thank you very much, Mother! Thank you very much, Father! Thank you very much, Sister!"

Today we have a birthday party. At twelve o'clock my friends come to my home. They say: "Happy birthday!" They give me presents. I get books, toys, and pictures. I say "Thank you" to all my friends.

My mother comes and asks us to go to the big room. On the table we see a big birthday cake. We eat the cake and we drink tea. We talk about our school, about our teachers, and about our friends. Then we play games. We sing songs and we dance. After the party we go to the cinema together. At the cinema we see an interesting film. We like the film very much.

I am very happy today. I have a good day with my mother, my father, my sister, and my friends. I like this day. It is my birthday, and I feel good.
