Summer is still with us. The days are warm and sunny, but the nights are cool. The sky is blue, and the trees are green. People still go to the park, the forest, or the lake. Children play outside, ride their bikes, and swim in the river.

We can still go hiking or fishing in August. Many families go to the forest on weekends. They walk along small roads and enjoy the fresh air. Some people take food and water with them and have lunch in the forest. But the nights are becoming colder, and people put on warm clothes in the evening.

There are plenty of mushrooms in August. They grow in the forest, under trees and on the grass. People take baskets and go to pick them. But you must know which mushrooms are good to eat and which are not. Even good mushrooms become bad when they are old. So people look carefully and choose only young mushrooms. After that, they go home and cook them for dinner. The smell is nice and the food is very tasty.
