When Larry came home from school he said, “I’m not going to school tomorrow.”

“Why?” asked his mother.

“On Monday, the teacher said four and four are eight. On Tuesday, she said six and two are eight. Today, she said seven and one are eight. The sums are different, but the answers are always the same. How can I learn mathematics?”
