New Year Resolutions of an English Boy

The New Year is coming. It is soon. All people make good resolutions for the New Year. They think about good things to do. I want to make some good resolutions too. I am thirteen years old. My name is Ben. Here are my resolutions.

One: I want to get up early. I will do morning exercises every day.

Two: I will wash in cold water in the morning. I will wash in cold water in the evening too.

Three: I will help Mother every day. I will work in the house with her.

Four: I will not hit my little brother Tim. He is small. I will be good to him.

Five: I will take Tim to the park with me every day. We will play there together.

Six: I will do my homework first. Then I will watch TV. Homework is important.

Seven: I will write down in my exercise-book the titles of books which I have read. I like to read books.

Eight: I will clean my shoes every evening. I will make them nice and clean.

I think these are good resolutions. I will try to do them all. The New Year will be good.
