At School Again

My name is Pete. I live in London, the capital of the United Kingdom. I am a schoolboy. I am not eight. I am nine now.

In the United Kingdom, school begins at the beginning of September. Today is the first day of school. So, I am at school again. But I am not in the third form. Now I am in the fourth form. My school friends are in the fourth form, too. I am very glad to see my friends and teachers again.

Today is Monday. We have five lessons: English, Mathematics, Science and Music. I like Music and English lessons.

In English lessons, we speak English, learn poems, write letters, words, and sentences, read stories about boys and girls, learn about birds and animals, do counting exercises, sing English songs, and play educational games. It is a lot of fun.

After school, I go home. I do my homework and then I can play or read a book. I like my school very much.
