A Conversation About Endangered Animals

Anna: Hi, Tom! How are you?

Tom: Hi, Anna. I'm good. Thanks. How about you?

Anna: I'm fine, too. Do you know about animals that are in danger?

Tom: Yes, I do. These are animals that can disappear from our planet. Do you know any of these animals?

Anna: Yes, I know about pandas and tigers. They are in danger because people hunt them and cut down their forests. What about you?

Tom: I know about elephants. People hunt them because they want their big teeth. It's very sad.

Anna: Yes, it is. Do you think we can help these animals?

Tom: Yes, I think we can. We can stop hunting and protect the places where they live. What do you think?

Anna: I agree. We can also give money to groups that help these animals. Do you think zoos are good for them?

Tom: Some zoos help protect these animals, but it's better when they live free in nature. What about you?

Anna: I think zoos can be good if they take care of the animals well. Do you think the weather changes a problem for these animals?

Tom: Yes, when the weather changes, it is hard for animals to find food and a good place to live. What do you think?

Anna: I agree. We need to take care of our planet to help these animals. Thanks for the conversation, Tom. See you later.

Tom: See you, Anna.
