A Conversation About Going to the Gym

Anna: Hi, Tom! How are you?
Tom: Hi, Anna. I'm good. Thanks. How about you?
Anna: I'm fine, too. I just joined a gym. Do you go to the gym?
Tom: Yes, I go three times a week. It's a great way to be healthy. Do you like it?
Anna: I like it, but it's a bit hard. I don't exercise very much normally.
Tom: I understand. It's difficult at the start. What do you do at the gym?
Anna: I walk on the running machine and do some exercises with weights. What about you?
Tom: I do different exercises for my body. I also go to a yoga class once a week.
Anna: That sounds fun. Do you have a trainer?
Tom: Yes, I have a trainer who helps me at the gym. Do you have one?
Anna: No, I don't. Maybe I need one. I don't know what exercises are good for me.
Tom: A trainer can help you. He or she can tell you what to do. It's a good idea when you are new to the gym.
Anna: I'll think about it. Do you go to the gym alone or with friends?
Tom: I usually go alone, but sometimes I go with my friend Mike. It's more fun with a friend.
Anna: That's true. Maybe we can go together sometime.
Tom: That sounds great. Let's plan a day next week.
Anna: Okay, let's do that. See you later, Tom.
Tom: See you, Anna.
