Jim Has a Friend

Mr. Dale has a son. His son is a boy. His son’s name is Jim. Jim has a friend. His friend is another boy. His friend’s name is Sam.

They live not far from London. Their home is near the city. Sam is a big boy. He is not little. He can read and write. He goes to school every day. He does his lessons after school. He works at home.

Sam goes to the cinema on Sundays. Sunday is a free day. He goes to the cinema with his friends. They see films together.

Jim is a little boy. He is small. He plays with Lily. Lily is Sam’s sister. She is a girl. Jim and Lily play in the garden. The garden is behind their house.

They run with Roombo. Roombo is Jim’s puppy. It is a small dog. Sometimes they play football. It is a game with a ball. Lily has a small black ball. The ball is for their game.

Jim can run very fast. He is quick. He can jump high too. He can go up in the air.

Lily cannot run well. She is slow. She cannot jump at all. She cannot go up. Her legs are too short. Her feet are too small.

But she can kick the ball. She can hit it with her foot. When she kicks the ball, she smiles. She is happy. She kicks it with her left foot.

Jim and Lily are very good friends. They like each other. They play together every day.
