Growing Younger Every Day
0:00/0:00

All people, when they grow old, wish they could become young again. The only people who, according to an old story, really did something about it were the Orang Sakya — a tribe said to live in Burma (today’s Myanmar). The longer they live, the younger they become.
According to the story, when a child is born in this tribe, it is considered to be 60 years old. Each year, the person's age becomes one year less until it reaches zero. If someone lives longer than that, they are given ten extra years to "live backwards" again at the same rate.
Of course, this story is more of a legend than a real fact, but it shows an interesting idea — that growing old might simply mean returning to the beginning of life.
