Dear Mary,
Many thanks for your interesting letters. Your letters were about England. I showed them to my English teacher. I showed them to the pupils of my class. They liked them very much. They liked your letters. Today I am going to tell you about the English Club. It is at our school. It was organized by the English teachers.
Meetings of our club take place every week. We meet every week. Sometimes we have talks about England. We have talks about America. We have talks about the life of the people. Very often there are exhibitions. The exhibitions are on English life. They are on American life. They are on literature.
Last year, a very good exhibition took place. It was at our club. It was about William Shakespeare. There was a large portrait of Shakespeare. It was on a stand. Around it were pictures. There were pictures of Shakespeare’s house. There were pictures of the Shakespeare theater. There was the story of his life. There was the story of his work. We like Shakespeare very much. Very good films of his plays were made in the world.
So you see, we like English very much. We always learn a lot about your country. We learn about England.
I shall end my letter now. I wish you and your family all the best. I hope I shall receive another letter from you soon.
Your friend,
Giulia
