Talking About Different Cultures

Anna: Hi Tom. Did you ever visit a country with a different culture?

Tom: Hi Anna. Yes, I visited Japan last year. It was very interesting. What about you?

Anna: I went to India. The culture is very different from here. What did you like about Japan?

Tom: I like the food like sushi and ramen. I also like the temples. They're so beautiful. What about India?

Anna: I loved the food too like curry and naan. The festivals were amazing with music and dancing.

Tom: That sounds fun. Was it hard to learn the new culture?

Anna: A little. The language was hard, but people were very friendly. What about you? Did you have any problems in Japan?

Tom: Yes, I didn't know how to use chopsticks at first. But I learned quickly. I also had to bow when I met people.

Anna: That's interesting. I think learning about different cultures is a great way to learn about the world.
