Talking About Beach and Mountain Vacations

Anna: Hi, Tom. Do you prefer beach vacations or mountain vacations?

Tom: Hi, Anna. I like both, but I prefer the beach. I love swimming in the sea. What about you?

Anna: I prefer the mountains. I like hiking and fresh air. The beach is too hot for me.

Tom: That's true. The beach can be very hot. But I like lying in the sun and building sand castles.

Anna: That sounds fun. In the mountains, I like taking photos of the nature. It's so beautiful.

Tom: Yes, mountains are beautiful. But I don't like cold weather. Do you?

Anna: It's okay for me. I wear warm clothes and drink hot tea. It's very nice.

Tom: That's nice. Maybe I'll try a mountain vacation one day. What do you do at the beach?

Anna: I swim a little, but I mostly read books under an umbrella. I don't like too much sun.

Tom: I understand. Maybe we can go on vacation together and choose both.
