Talking About Freelancing and Office Jobs

Lily: Hi, Ben! Do you work in an office or from home?

Ben: Hi, Lily! I work in an office. What about you?

Lily: I’m a freelancer. I work from home most of the time.

Ben: That’s interesting. Do you like working from home?

Lily: Yes, I do. I can choose my hours and work in my pajamas. It’s comfortable.

Ben: That sounds nice. But don’t you feel lonely sometimes?

Lily: Sometimes, yes. I miss talking to colleagues. But I meet friends after work.

Ben: I see. I like working in an office because I can talk to people and ask for help easily.

Ben: Yes, I work from 9 to 5. It’s not flexible, but I like having a routine.

Lily: I understand. As a freelancer, I can work anytime, but sometimes I work late at night.

Ben: That sounds hard. Do you have weekends off?

Lily: Not always. If I have a lot of work, I work on weekends too. But I can take a day off during the week.
