Sophie: Hi, Alex! What’s your favorite school tradition?
Alex: Hi, Sophie! I really like the school talent show. It’s so much fun. What about you?
Sophie: I love the talent show too, but my favorite is the annual sports day. I enjoy playing games with my friends.
Alex: Oh, yes! Sports day is great. I always join the relay race. It’s so exciting.
Sophie: Me too! Do you know when the next sports day is?
Alex: I think it’s next month. We should start practicing soon.
Sophie: Good idea. What other traditions does our school have?
Alex: There’s the science fair in November. I like it because we can do cool experiments.
Sophie: That sounds interesting. I’ve never been to the science fair. What do you do there?
Alex: Students create projects about science topics. Last year, I made a volcano. It was awesome!
Sophie: Wow, that’s so cool! I’ll definitely go this year. Are there any traditions you don’t like?
Alex: Hmm, I don’t like the long speeches at the end-of-year ceremony. They’re so boring.
Sophie: I agree. But I like getting awards. It’s nice to be recognized for hard work.
Alex: True. Well, I hope we have more fun traditions in the future.
