April

Spring has come. The days are warmer, and the sun shines brightly. New green grass and small leaves appear on the trees. The air feels fresh, and everything looks clean and beautiful.
There is no more snow, and people begin to work in the fields and gardens. They plough the soil and plant seeds, such as wheat and vegetables. These plants will grow during spring and summer, and people will collect them in July and August. It is a busy and happy time for everyone.
March and April are the months when there is a lot to do in schoolyards and school gardens too. Pupils clean the yard, plant flowers, and water them. They watch how the plants grow day by day.
Many birds come back from warmer countries. They sing in the morning and begin to build their nests in trees and bushes. Spring is a time of new life and hard work for both people and animals.
