It is often very windy in November. The wind moves the last leaves on the trees and they fall to the ground. The birds do not sing now. It is very quiet in the forest. You can hear the wind and the leaves on the ground. Many birds leave in November. They fly to warmer countries. They stay there all winter and come back in spring. The forest looks empty without the birds, but it will be full of life again when spring comes.

People wear warm clothes in November. They wear coats, hats, and gloves because the wind is cold. The days are shorter, and it becomes dark in the evening earlier. Sometimes it rains, and the streets and fields become wet. Even though it is cold and windy, November has its own beauty. The colours of the leaves, the quiet forest, and the clear air make the month very special.
