Cats’ Races

Every year in America there are cats’ races. People who have cats bring their cats to a special place. Many cats and their owners come to the race. The cats are very excited and sometimes a little nervous.

When the signal “Go!” is given, all the cats run as fast as they can. Some cats run straight, but some cats stop to look around or play. The people watching the race laugh and cheer for the cats. It is very funny and interesting to see the cats run.

The cat that comes to the finish line first is the winner of the race. The winner gets a small prize and a lot of attention. All the other cats and their owners are happy too, because it is fun to take part. Cats’ races are a special event, and many people look forward to them every year.
